Marshall’s Little Art Gallery is expanding our submission options to include web-based forms. Although we have distributed an array of paper-based forms in our Call for Artists packets and emails and on this web page, we are now offering this web page’s online form submission option too. Bio: Artist Must Provide
All artists are asked to provide a bio and any preferred additional marketing information when signing their show contract. Images and bio information will be placed on our website when the contract is signed, to assist with marketing your work. The gallery may choose to list your information on their site for an extended period of time. Therefore, please do not place dated information in your bio or any artist statement materials. All bios must be submitted in a Word document. You will be sent instructions for submitting your details and artwork. Images may be taken at the gallery if the artist requests. Images of art used for the website and or other promotions should be pieces that will be showing in the exhibit. It is crucial that you help us promote your show by providing us with this important information in a timely manner.
Advertising
The gallery is planning to host and support several exhibits in the coming year. We make every effort to promote each exhibit. We list each exhibit and artist information on our website. Additionally, we market to Greensboro media outlets.
Postcards will be printed and made available for artists to distribute to their customer-base three weeks prior to shows. It is vital that artists help contact media for promotional reasons and advertise through personal mailings and by forwarding Gallery emails.
The gallery can provide any digital or electronic information to artist’s sources only after the artist has fulfilled their responsibility in providing the gallery with the needed materials.
All advertising must be produced or approved by Marshall’s Little Art Gallery.
No exceptions will be made to this policy.
Checks will be disbursed by the 15th of the month following an item’s sale.
All checks and 1099’s will be distributed by Franklin4Framing Inc.
